To mark Baby Loss Awareness Week this year (2023) our volunteer members have been busy with the crochet hooks and knitting needles – and have created around 400 little white butterflies.
These white butterflies have been attached to the back fence and create a beautiful backdrop of butterflies in the White Garden, a bit like stars in the sky.
This was a great idea by volunteer members who work in the cemetery on Saturday mornings, and I hope it is one which we will do each year at this time.
