How you can support us
Thank you for your interest in supporting the work of the old Folkestone Cemetery ‘Friends’ volunteer group. Our work at the old Folkestone Cemetery is largely reliant on the good will of supporters, members, donors and the practical work of our volunteers.
There are a variety of ways that you can support the ongoing upkeep of the Cemetery – as well as by attending events we may organise.
Donate: We need to raise funding each year to support the purchase and upkeep of various items including: equipment and machinery for grounds maintenance, fuel and servicing, repair and maintenance of monuments and plots where we can and with owners permission, maintenance of site benches and signage and much more. If you would like to donate please contact us (admin@fofc.uk) to make arrangements.
Join Us: The ‘friends’ group has a growing list of supporters – it doesn’t cost anything to become a member/supporter. We hold an Annual General Meeting in May each year and members receive the Annual Report and Accounts and are invited to give a donation if they are able to. If you would like to join please contact us using the email address on the Contact page.
Support in Kind: We are always grateful for the donation of any goods or services in kind that can reduce our outgoings such as tools, equipment for outdoor work, office equipment, stationary and so on. Please contact the Chairman if you or your company/organisation could offer support in kind.

Leave a Legacy: Leaving the ‘Friends’ organisation a legacy in your will would enable us to build up a more stable income and plan our work on a more long-term basis.
